    Masta Killa-Exclusive……….Drops Today!!!

Today (August 8th) marks the release of Masta Killa’s sophomore solo effort “Made In Brooklyn” courtesy of the 718’s finest indie hip hop purveyors – Nature Sounds. The same emcee who turned heads back in ‘93 as a founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan returns to the spotlight for the first time since his 2004 debut “No Said Date” hit stereos all over the country. Settle in for 13 deep cuts showcasing that familiar lyrical style that was honed under the guise of Wu’s RZA aka Bobby Digital and sharpened over the years with appearances on records by Public Enemy, Bounty Killer and various Wu releases. Masta Killa continues to keep it all in the family on “Made In Brooklyn” with guest spots by the entire Wu-Tang Clan including Meth, RZA and Ghostface along with collaborations with premier artists like DOOM, Pete Rock and Bronze Nazareth. Below you’ll find all the relevant info including track listing, free streams for posting, tour dates, useful links and even some attached images. Help spread the Masta Killa love!

Masta Killa on “Made In Brooklyn” ::

“Having the opportunity to work with producers and other emcees from my ‘hood — East New York, Brooklyn — was definitely something I wanted to do for a long time. ‘No Said Date’ was a pretty good pot of stew. From the chef’s position, I was told not to change too many ingredients [and] just give the same dish again, so I tried to stay consistent with that.” – Masta Killa to Billboard.com

    Big Daddy Kane……..”The Era”

During his era he had it locked. He even brought Jay Z out on tour with him. Sported one of the most crispy Flat Top’s ever seen in the hood. His swagger was intouchable. His name is Big Daddy Kane…….

Even though he was recently honored, I believe the tribute was long overdue. This dude had us in the mirror tryin to cut slices in our eyebrows. True Story: I tried to do it and shaved half my eyebrow off….then went back to school with a bandage on my eye tellin my peoples I got cut.So….without furher shit talkin I give you Big Daddy Kane….

    Ain’t no half steppin
